New! I participated in a conference call last night- January 11-- set up by the Peace Alliance. It was so interesting and was, of course, a reflection on the Tucson, AZ shootings. I was struck by the fact that not one person sounded angry, placed any blame, or suggested any kind of retribution or punishment. Wow! If you'd like to read my comments about the call and hear about many people's contributions to it, just click one of these links:

From Anne Nietert-
I strongly believe that one of the greatest ways we can promote peace in this world is by participating in and fostering homestays. As a student, I lived with several different families in France. Recently I have opened my home at Eastertime to international students through an organization called Joshua’s Way. Once you have broken bread with people, far-reaching barriers are also broken.
From Sandi Lee-
Let's not forget about forgiveness...surely a component of peace.
Peace to all in 2011 and beyond.
