Five years ago four friends and I started a small recorder ensemble called Musica Camerata. We have now grown to eight people playing four different recorders: soprano, alto, tenor and bass. Our specialty is Early Music (renaissance and baroque).
We played for Ashley Hall's Christmas program for three years, their May Shakespeare Play, and most recently, their production of the opera "Noah's Fludde". We played many concerts locally the past several years, including local church services. If you would like us to play for your organization or event please call 843-881-4486.
2011. We recently played for the Sunday service at Circular Congregational Church in Charleston. The program consisted of works by Mozart, Mendelssohn, Corelli, Zanetti, Handel and Praetorious.
Our Christmas concerts for 2011 consisted of 9 programs for area organizations.
